Our manual catflap

In brief: A catflap that is set to an open/locked position by hand.

Description: A manual catflap is one that the user must set to a locking position by hand. Ours provides 4-way locking – open, closed, in-only or out-only. It is cheaper than microchip models, and does not require batteries to operate. However, it requires the user to lock it in order to prevent other cats from entering the home. This manual catflap only comes in White, and is intended for average-sized cats. For larger cats, we offer our pet doors.

Microchip-activated catflaps

What are they: Catflaps that can recognise a cat’s microchip ID.

Description: Microchip catflaps work by recognising a cat’s ID that has been registered to it. We offer three models – our standard microchip catflap; the DualScan catflap, where separate permissions can be set for individual cats; and the Connect, which can be operated and monitored via smartphone. Our microchip catflaps cost more than the manual option, and also require batteries but can be operated manually without them. All models come in White, while the standard as comes in Brown or Anthracite/White, and the DualScan in Brown.

Door flaps for dogs (and larger cats)

What we offer: Manual and microchip pet doors, for small to medium-sized dogs and larger-sized cats.

Description: Pet doors are specifically designed for dogs, with small-dog pet doors able to accommodate larger-sized cats. Manual small pet doors offer the same 4-way locking as catflaps, and come in White, while medium pet doors only offer 2-way locking (open or closed) but come in White or Brown. There are two models of microchip pet door, intended for small dogs – the standard, which comes in White or Brown; and the Connect, only available in White.

The cheapest options are our manual models; microchip models offer superior features and can keep other animals out; while pet doors for medium dogs are restricted to a manual model.
